A family yard, four decades running.

What started as one man's ironmonger's counter in 1986 is now the yard the county's builders rely on.

Our story

Pinnacle Hardware opened its doors in 1986 as a single counter selling nails, hinges and advice. The advice was always free — and it's the reason customers kept coming back.

Three generations on, we're still family-run, but the yard has grown to six departments, 12,000 stock lines and 2,000+ trade accounts. The people who work the counters today are ex-builders, ex-plumbers and ex-electricians — they've done the jobs you're buying for.

We're not the cheapest, and we don't try to be. We're the ones who have it in stock, know which one you actually need, and deliver it to site on time.
